People often compare Kalamazoo Communities In Schools (KCIS) to a toolbox.  Our tools are not hammers, screwdrivers, and wrenches, though.  They are a network of community partners - agencies, organizations, and individuals who provide a variety of resources and services to address the many needs of students.  KCIS with its partners work in four domains:

• Health - physical and social-emotional
• Parent Engagement
• Quality out-of-school time
• Mentoring and Tutoring

KCIS acts as a bridge to connect community partners with students who can benefit from their resources in these four areas.
