KCIS would like to thank the downtown branch of National City Bank for generously donating more than 1,470 school supplies for KPS students going back to school.
National City employees divided into four teams - reflecting the building's four floors - and the teams competed to donate the most school supplies.
The first floor delivered early with an awesome number of items purchased when the school supplies first went on sale at the local merchants. But the competition tightened, and by the last day of the competition, the third floor edged out the first floor by 34 items.
Though cake and ice cream were the planned reward for the floor contributing the most, all National City employees were rewarded in the end for their generosity. After all, the students of KPS schools were the true winners in this challenge!
