Site Coordinator

Full-time, 43 weeks.  Site Coordinator for a middle school with 21st Century Community Learning Centers' after school program that is a licensed child care center.  Responsible for implementing the Communities In Schools' Integrated Student Services model within a school setting.  Applicants must meet the criteria to serve as the “program director” for the school site, under the terms of the Michigan Child Care Licensing Act and must meet the criteria for Title I reimbursement for Site Coordinator.  In general, these qualifications mean a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a child/youth development area or equivalent education and experience.  Experience, knowledge and skill with adolescents/adolescent development.  Exceptional organizational. interpersonal and communication skills.  Previous experience in supervising others.  Must be able to assess the needs of students and work with others to develop and implement interventions to address those needs. Capacity to work with a diverse set of school and community partners as well as diverse students and parents.   Strong computer skills and able to use technology for data tracking, email and word processing.  Ability to work both independently and in a team.
