Jill Reynolds
Smart, bright, compassionate and funny. KPS Nurse Jill Reynolds serves as an inspiration for community programs that support the health and wellness of KPS students.
- A champion of the Nursing intern program, Jill provides orientations for each intern group at elementary sites and training on care plans, medication administration and school policies and procedures on lice, asthma, etc.
- She initiated a KCIS mini grant to support the interns with program supplies including pedometers, bulletin board materials etc.
- Jill acquired additional bulletin board and classroom presentation materials from KPS to visually expose students to reminders of healthy habits.
- She serves as a member of the Edison School Based Health Center Community Advisory Committee.
- She provided extensive support for immunization compliance improvement program initiated by Michigan Department of Community Health and the Edison School Based Health Center.
- From the start, she has provided ongoing support for the Bronson Hospital Nurse pilot program which brought a full time nurse to Milwood Elementary for 3 years.
